GREYWOODS STARGAZEYsold out (Wilkinson 06) Sev. 39” M. 9” Dip
The Stargazey is a pub in a novel from one of my favorite mystery writers, Martha Grimes. This is what I’d probably call a big fat spidery UF. (Sorry Bob!) At 9”+, it starts the day as a deep violet purple star, and progresses to a red purple by afternoon. The flower is nicely formed with a big yellow into a green star center. A few well spaced flowers open at intervals. Good 4 low branches, a strong scape and gloriously long 24+ buds. Moderately fertile.
